Faculty Biostatistician, Department of Neurology

The BARD Center and the Department of Neurology at Boston Children's Hospital seek a PhD biostatistician to collaborate with investigators on basic and clinical research. Faculty appointment will be at the Harvard Medical School, with rank commensurate with experience and scholarly contributions. The successful candidate will have a doctorate in biostatistics or statistics, with at least 2 years of experience, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a strong interest in collaborative research. Experience in longitudinal studies, missing data, and clinical trials is highly desirable. Faculty Biostatistician, Division of Adolescent Medicine

The BARD Center and the Division of Adolescent Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at Boston Children's Hospital seek a PhD biostatistician or epidemiologist to collaborate with investigators on basic and clinical research. Current research areas of interest in the Division include, but are not limited to, studies on eating disorders, obesity, nutrition, bone health, sexual behavior, community programs, substance abuse, transgender care, and the effects of media exposure on adolescent health risk behaviors. Faculty appointment will be at the Harvard Medical School, with rank commensurate with experience and scholarly contributions. The candidate’s responsibilities include collaborating with investigators to define the appropriate design, analysis and reporting of research studies, and teaching short courses and mentoring adolescent medicine trainees and junior faculty in statistical methodology. The successful candidate will have a doctorate in biostatistics, statistics or epidemiology with at least two years of experience, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a strong interest in collaborative research.
