Early Intervention Program volunteer, Martha Eliot Health Center
This opportunity is located at 75 Bickford St., Jamaica Plain. Our patient population is infants and toddlers with developmental delays/complex medical conditions.
Duties
- Assisting with office support for various projects
- Assisting with the program’s play groups in the outpatient clinic
Requirements
- At least 18 years old and graduated from high school
- If applying, must fully complete application and submit reference sheet
- Available to attend a Zoom interview
- Available to start in August 2025 and continue for one calendar year
Note: Applicants should have experience working with children ages 0 to 3. Experience working in special education and/or with children with developmental delays is preferred.
Minimum commitment
- One two- to three-hour shift per week for one year
- Shifts are scheduled on Tuesdays between 8:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. and Thursdays between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Duties
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for families as they arrive
- Provide wayfinding assistance to families checking in
- Assist with administrative tasks
- Assist with organizational tasks

- Available to start in September 2025 and continue for the volunteer commitment
