We are happy to enable our patient families to renew their existing prescriptions through two different mechanisms. If you are signed up, you can use our Patient Portal to renew your prescriptions. If you prefer, you can contact your pharmacy directly and have them send an electronic refill request to us. You can learn how to do this below.
Through your pharmacy
Please call your pharmacy and ask them to send an electronic prescription refill request to Longwood Pediatrics.
We will then electronically approve the request, if appropriate, and have it ready for you within 2 business days.
Through the Patient Portal
To renew your prescription using our Patient Portal, please click here if you are already signed up.
Call our office
Please call our main office number (617-277-7320) and select Option 4. You will be directed to leave a message including your child’s name, child’s date of birth, primary care physician, medication you need refilled, pharmacy name and address, and best callback number to reach you. Within 48 hours a nurse will review your request and refill your prescription or call you with any questions or concerns.
