A lifelong interest in gardening led Dr. Amy Roberts to take an elective course in plant genetics during college. That decision changed the trajectory of her career. Now at Boston Children’s, she explores genetics in a different way, working as a cardiovascular geneticist and co-director of the Center for Cardiovascular Genetics. She provides personalized care to patients with heart-related genetic conditions.
