The Boston Children's Hospital Intestine and Multivisceral Transplant team tracks and reviews many different quality metrics related to the performance of our program. We use these metrics to constantly improve the care of children undergoing intestine and multivisceral transplantation.
Every six months, the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients (SRTR) provides updated information about the performance of every organ transplant program in the United States. Some examples of the information available about each transplant center includes the number of transplants performed, the number of patients awaiting transplant, and what happened to patients who received transplants. By visiting the SRTR website at www.SRTR.org, you can access information about the Pediatric Transplant Center at Boston Children’s Hospital. To find this information, follow these steps:
- Step 1: Visit www.SRTR.org. SRTR supports the transplant community with analyses in an effort to better patient results and experience. Data driven, improving patient outcomes is our No. 1 goal.
- Step 2: Select the organ you are interested in from the dropdown list.
- Step 3: Enter “Boston Children’s Hospital” in the search field.
