Current Environment:

Specialized testing of immune dysregulation syndrome

In addition to providing clinical care and consultation, the MIDAS Clinic and Discovery Program continually works to better understand the underlying errors in immune functioning that lead to immune dysregulation. We have a robust research arm of our clinic that allows for specialized testing to characterize the immune system and how it works.

We also provide the most up-to-date genetic testing to identify causative genes, including those that have not yet been described. We seek to advance our current understanding of the processes driving these rare immune dysregulatory conditions, both to contribute to the field as well as to offer patients personalized therapeutic plans.

Through our work, we have reported on the unique clinical characteristics of patients with immune dysregulation and, in collaboration with colleagues, have identified novel genes responsible for these processes.
