What time should I arrive to my appointment?

We will provide important information, including your recommended arrival time. If you anticipate being late for your appointment on the day of, we kindly request that you notify us in advance of your arrival.

What should I do if I need to change an appointment?

If you know in advance that you need to change your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible so we can reschedule you promptly. For same-day changes, kindly call us right away to arrange a new appointment.

What do I do if my insurance changes?

Please call us if you anticipate any changes to insurance information as this may require additional approval prior to your visit.

What can I do during an infusion?

We offer a variety of activities, crafts, video games, and TVs in each room. You also may bring your own device, such as a laptop, iPad, or handheld gaming system.

Can I eat, drink or take my medication prior to my treatment?

A nurse practitioner will contact you before your first visit to discuss any dietary restrictions related to your treatment.

Do you have numbing options for my IV placement?

Yes, we have a couple of different numbing options available for IV placement and Injections. We have a cream-based lidocaine (LMX) as well as a needleless Lidocaine injector (JTIP). The LMX cream does require a waiting period of approximately 30 minutes after application while the JTIP is instantaneous. Our clinical staff will discuss with you prior to your first visit which option may be best for your child.
