Human Resources 24 Hours weekly

General Purpose

Manages the day to day tasks of the HR dept and supports a wide range of HR activities including general administrative duties, employee database management, payroll and benefits, and the creation and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Main Job tasks and duties:

Recruitment and Hiring:

  • Assist with creating and posting job vacancies
  • Receive and review job applications to forward to Management
  • Schedule interviews and assessments
  • Collect and verify candidate information including background checks
  • Administer and process new hire paperwork
  • Coordinate orientation of new employees

Employee Development

  • Coordinate performance appraisals
  • Record performance, grievance and disciplinary information
  • Assist with the termination process including paperwork, notifications to relevant departments and exit interviews
  • Organize trainings (osha and hippa yearly compliance)

Employee Database Management

  • Maintain and process accurate and complete HR and employee records
  • Respond to requests for data

Administrative support

  • Handle incoming calls and emails- related to HR
  • Manage HR schedules and calendars
  • Schedule meetings and venues
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence and communications
  • Plan and coordinate employee events (birthday lunches)

Employee Liaison

  • Ensure smooth flow of information between employees and HR
  • Respond to inquiries and requests from employees
  • Act as an advocate for employees
  • Convey employee concerns and issues to management

Payroll and Benefits

  • Manage benefit enrollment of employees when eligible and cessation of benefits on termination of employment
  • Collect time and attendance records
  • Track vacation and sick time
  • Conduct salary surveys
  • Assist employees with payroll related questions


  • Promote employee compliance with HR mandated processes and systems
  • Monitor adherence to labor laws and employment regulations

Education. Qualifications and experience

  • Degree in HR or related field
  • General knowledge of HR practices and procedures
  • Basic knowledge of labor law and employment best practices
  • Highly computer literate with solid experience of word processing, spreadsheet and database applications
  • Fluency with MS office and relevant HR software

Job Title: Behavioral Health Clinician

Reports To: Managing Partner – Fred D. Kern, M.D.,FAAP

Position: Full-time

General Description: We seek a Behavioral Health Clinician who will work on a multidisciplinary team in a pediatric primary care setting. S/he will provide behavioral health services to patients and families, within the practice’s model of the medical home. The clinician will also provide medical staff in the practice with consultative support, help coordination behavioral health referrals and services outside the practice. This candidate should be passionate about providing patient – centered care and should be willing to make quality improvements to best service their pediatric patients.

Summary of Duties:

  • Provide age-appropriate care for young children and their parents, through the young adult years.
  • Build professional clinical relationships with patients and families whose primary care providers refer them for behavioral health services.
  • Provide evidence-based, short-term interventions, to patients and families with identified clinical needs in accordance with established professional standards and treatment models.
  • Evaluate children with positive behavioral health screens to determine need for further diagnostic assessment and need for behavioral services.
  • Provide consultative support to the practice’s providers.
  • Provide documentation as required for approval of behavioral health services by health insurers.
  • Assist with administrative tasks (including ensuring compliance with insurance requirements for session notes, treatment plans, supervision, treatment authorizations
  • Engages in various educational and professional development training to enhance their ability to provide effective, efficient and quality care.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Social Work, or Mental Health Counseling.
  • Is currently licensed in Massachusetts at the independent practice level.
  • Has experience with and comfortable working on a team.
  • Has a minimum of 5 years clinical experience working with children and families, with direct experience in pediatric primary care.
  • Is passionate about working directly with pediatric patients and their families.
  • Has an understanding of “behavioral health integration in primary care” and the “medical home”.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Has experience with the Epic software program

Job Title: RN/LPN

Bridgewater Pediatrics in Bridgewater, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN). Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the RN/LPN will collaborate with our pediatricians, nurse practitioners, and clinical team to provide care to infants, children, and teens. We have one position open. Saturday and Sunday 7:30am-12pm.

Responsibilities include:

  • Take patient vitals, obtain a brief history from patient or their family member, and properly log it in the patient’s electronic health record
  • Administer vaccinations and complete required documentation
  • Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with patient care, including but not limited to, assisting with various medical tests, blood draws, and administering medications as needed
  • Clean, disinfect, and prepare rooms as patients transition
  • Help to maximize efficiency and minimize wait times by facilitating optimal patient flow
  • Help make patients and their families feel comfortable and at ease
  • Answer patient phone calls, provide telephonic triage and patient care advice
  • Assist with general duties and special projects as needed, including help at the front desk
  • Participate in continuing education offerings to enhance the care given to patients


  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license is required
  • Experience working with children in a pediatric setting is preferred
  • Experience with telephone triage highly preferred
  • Candidate must be organized, detail oriented, and a team player who works well under pressure
  • Must possess a love for children and an ability to provide compassionate care

Physical Requirements:

  • Work requires regularly reaching and grasping objects at, below, or above shoulders
  • Lift boxes, patients, laundry etc: up to 50 lbs. Kneel/squat, Walk/stand and sit for long periods of time.
  • Push a wheelchair/stroller.
  • Work requires regularly grasping and fine manipulation with hands.
  • Work requires regularly proofreading and checking documents for accuracy and inputting/retrieving words or data into or from an automated/computer system.
  • A reliable car and the ability to drive between office and meeting locations.
