Bridgewater Pediatrics in Bridgewater, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN) or medical assistant (MA). Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the RN/LPN/MA will collaborate with our pediatricians, nurse practitioners, and clinical team to provide care to infants, children, and teens. We have one position open. Full-time 40 hour position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Take patient vitals, obtain a brief history from patient or their family member, and properly log it in the patient’s electronic health record Administer vaccinations and complete required documentation
  • Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with patient care, including but not limited to, assisting with various medical tests, blood draws, and administering medications as needed
  • Clean, disinfect, and prepare rooms as patients transition Help to maximize efficiency and minimize wait times by facilitating optimal patient flow
  • Help make patients and their families feel comfortable and at ease Answer patient phone calls, provide telephonic triage and patient care advice Assist with general duties and special projects as needed, including help at the front desk
  • Participate in continuing education offerings to enhance the care given to patients


  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Medical Assistant (MA) or Registered Nurse (RN) license is required
  • Experience working with children in a pediatric setting is preferred
  • Experience with telephone triage highly preferred
  • Candidate must be organized, detail oriented, and a team player who works well under pressure
  • Must possess a love for children and an ability to provide compassionate care

Physical Requirements:

  • Work requires regularly reaching and grasping objects at, below, or above shoulders
  • Lift boxes, patients, laundry etc: up to 50 lbs.
  • Kneel/squat, walk/stand and sit for long periods of time.
  • Push a wheelchair/stroller. Work requires regularly grasping and fine manipulation with hands.
  • Work requires regularly proofreading and checking documents for accuracy and inputting/retrieving words or data into or from an automated/computer system.
  • A reliable car and the ability to drive between office and meeting locations.

Behavioral Health Clinician

Job Title: Behavioral Health Clinician
Reports To: Managing Partner – Fred Kern

Position: Full-time


General Description: We seek a Behavioral Health Clinician who will work on a multidisciplinary team in a pediatric primary care setting. S/he will provide behavioral health services to patients and families, within the practice’s model of the medical home. The clinician will also provide medical staff in the practice with consultative support, help coordination behavioral health referrals and services outside the practice. This candidate should be passionate about providing patient – centered care and should be willing to make quality improvements to best service their pediatric patients.  


Summary of Duties:

  • Provide age – appropriate care for a wide patient panel, ranging from newborns to young adults.
  • Build professional clinical relationships with patients and families who primary care providers refer them for behavioral health services.
  • Provide evidence – based, short – term interventions, to patients and families with identified clinical needs in accordance with established professional standards and treatment models.
  • Evaluate children with positive behavioral health screens to determine need to further diagnostic assessment and need for behavioral services.
  • Provide consultative support to the practice’s providers.
  • Provide documentation as required for approval of behavioral health services by health insurer.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and oversight of the department (including ensuring compliance with insurance requirements for session notes, treatment plans, supervision, treatment authorizations, RBT requirements, etc.).
  • Engages in various educational and professional development trainings to enhance their ability to provide effective, efficient and quality care.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Has a Doctoral degree in psychology from an APA – accredited program or a Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE – accredited program.
  • Is currently licensed in Massachusetts at the independent practice level.
  • Has experience with and comfortable working on a team.
  • Has a minimum of 5 years clinical experience working with children and families, with direct experience in pediatric primary care.
  • Is passionate about working directly with pediatric patients and their families.
  • Has an understanding of “behavioral health integration in primary care” and the “medical home”.
  • Has experience with EHR (electronic health records) and an overall comfortability with computers and health – related software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Has experience with the EMR system Epic.

F/T LPN/RN for Pediatric Telephone Triage

We are a premier pediatric practice affiliated with Boston Children's Hospital located in Bridgewater. We are searching for an experienced F/T LPN/RN to Join and enhance our collaborative team. We welcome candidates with 2+ years of experience with pediatric telephone triage and use of EPIC EMR. Triage responsibilities include : assessing and discussing patient concerns, providing advice to parents/patients for many different symptoms and illnesses, and determining when appropriate for patients to be seen in our office using Clear triage/”Barton Schmitt” protocols/guidelines. Confidence, strong clinical skills, sound decision-making, excellent communication, and reliability are essential to be successful in this position.

Equipment operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.

Work environment: Well-lighted medical office. Exposure to communicable diseases and other conditions related to clinic setting. 

Mental/physical requirements: “Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with nurse triage involving sitting approximately 95% of the day with occasional standing, walking, reaching and lifting. Periodic stress occurs from handling many calls and dealing with patient requests.”
