Niki attended American International College and received her Master's degree in Forensic Psychology before deciding to pursue her doctorate in Educational Psychology, which led to a master's level therapist degree. She has practiced for over 16 years, is a licensed mental health provider in Massachusetts and Connecticut, and has worked alongside children, adolescents, adults and their families to improve daily functioning amidst complex psychiatric needs. Previous work settings have included residential, inpatient, detention and home settings. Niki's special interests are in trauma, the impact of nutrition and exercise on mental health, and animal-assisted therapy. In her free time, Niki enjoys spending time with her family and their dog, traveling, the beach, and watching Red Sox and Patriots.
