What are the symptoms of AATD?

Symptoms of AATD liver disease in children may include:

  • jaundice at birth that does not go away
  • dark urine and pale stools
  • elevated liver enzyme levels
  • severe itching
  • enlarged spleen
  • easy bleeding or bruising
