The Boston Children’s Nephrology Fellowship Training Program participates in the ERAS universal application system. Please visit the ERAS site for an application and some further information about the Nephrology Fellowship Program at Boston Children’s Hospital. We support and sponsor clinical J-1 and H-1B visas.

The below information should be processed into the ERAS program:

  1. Completed online application
  2. Current photograph
  3. Personal statement
  4. Three letters of recommendation
  5. Dean’s letter (MSPE)
  6. Medical school transcript
  7. Parts 1, 2, and 3 of the USMLE (taken within the past 7-year time frame)
  8. If a graduate of a medical school outside the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada, valid ECFMG certificate is required
  9. If not a citizen of the United States or permanent resident, copy of current, appropriate visa (J-1, J-2, H-1B, O-1, etc.)

Timeline:

  • Application deadline: Oct. 15
  • Interview time period: July to November
  • Fellowship start date: July

If not matched

If not matched through the ERAS system, you may apply to our Fellowship Training Program by printing out the following application, completing the appropriate fields, and mailing it to the address listed at the bottom of the application.

The below information is required with the application:

  1. Completed application
  2. Three letters of recommendation: one from each of your references listed on this application
  3. Medical school transcripts
  4. USMLE or ECFMG scores
  5. List of publications (optional)
  6. Photograph (optional)
