Bone-anchored hearing systems (BAHS) are designed to help children with conductive or mixed hearing loss. In this video, Dr. Gi Soo Lee, associate in the Department of Otolaryngology and Communication Enhancement at Boston Children’s, answers key questions about when to consider a bone-anchored hearing system, including how to know if a child is eligible, and at what age a child is old enough for surgical implantation of a bone-conduction hearing aid.
