Hypoplastic left-heart syndrome (HLHS) — the underdevelopment of the heart’s left side —significantly affects blood flow. Boston Children’s heart specialists offer several HLHS treatment options that are customized to meet a child’s specific needs, aiming to give them either a biventricular or one-and-a-half ventricular circulation.
