Professional History
Dr. Beroukhim specializes in pediatric cardiology at Boston Children’s Hospital. Her major clinical interests focus on non-invasive imaging of congenital heart disease, including assessment of heart defects by echocardiography, magnetic resonance imaging, and cardiac CT. In this role, she is a member of the complex biventricular repair and coronary artery programs at Boston Children’s Hospital. Rebecca is nationally and internationally known for her work in the field of pediatric cardiac tumors, and is the co-director of the cardiac tumors program. Her main research efforts are aimed at advancing care for patients with cardiac tumors. Because cardiac tumors are rare and in some cases even coming to a correct diagnosis is challenging, this type of research relies on collaboration with other institutions throughout the United States and abroad. Furthermore she works closely with providers outside of Boston to care for patients, whether that involves staying locally or traveling to Boston.

Our mission is not only to provide the highest possible quality of care, but also to lead research and discovery, and to educate our community."
