Professional History

Patricia has worked in the children, adolescence, and young adult field for many years. She first started out in early childhood education, where she worked as an infant, toddler, and preschool teacher. She has experience working with first-time teen parents. Eventually, she decided to transition from early education to the mental health field. She then worked in in-home therapy and outpatient therapy. Following her work in therapy, she ran a substance abuse program for mothers and children. Ultimately, she ventured out to work as an independent therapist.

Approach to Care
I wanted to work in the mental health field to gain a better understanding of the challenges i faced in both my personal and professional life. It was important for me to work with children because I felt that, too often, their voices go unheard. I aim to provide a listening ear for those who lacked support in their lives, helping to guide them through their journeys.
