Professional History
Dr. Carswell graduated from the University of Massachusetts Medical School where she remained for her pediatrics residency. She completed an endocrinology fellowship at Boston Children's and worked for many years in general endocrinology. Through her time in endocrinology, she partnered with members in Sports Medicine in research and clinical endeavors. She enjoyed this so much that she later completed a Sports Medicine fellowship so she could continue to work combining these two disciplines clinically.
Approach to Care
Patient care really is a team effort. As a sports medicine doctor and endocrinologist, I partner with families and care teams to support each child's health, growth, and athletic goals. My goal is to empower patients and parents with clear information so they can feel confident making decisions and keeping kids active, healthy, and thriving.
