The Pediatric Environmental Health and Climate Fellowship Program’s goal is to train physician-scholars who are prepared to lead efforts to address the needs of children affected by environmental hazards and climate change.

The goals of this fellowship are:

  • To introduce generalist pediatricians to issues in environmental health, environmental justice, and climate change
  • To educate pediatricians about the many interactions — biological, social, and cultural — that occur between children and the environment
  • To increase the quality and quantity of research and teaching in these critical fields
  • To create a cadre of leaders in this emerging discipline
