Robert’s Program | Research and Innovation

The research mission of Robert's Program is to determine the causes and pathogenesis of SUDP utilizing interdisciplinary and state-of-the-art approaches. Our focus is especially upon the first three years of life when the risk of sudden unexpected death is the greatest. Our researchers study sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), sudden unexpected death in childhood (SUDC) and sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP) and Unexplained Sudden Cardiac Death in Youth (SCDY). Our research promotes new clinical models and better understanding of the unique features of grief in this setting. Many members of our clinical team also work with our research team.
