Are you planning to bring your child to Boston Children’s Hospital and concerned that the visit might be stressful for her? My Hospital Story is a series of visual vignettes—child-friendly stories to help children anticipate every step of their visit, starting with entering our sometimes busy lobby.
The stories include simple, reassuring descriptions and photos of different places your child may visit in the hospital, showing what the rooms look like, whom they might meet and what will happen.
My Hospital Story is currently available as a set of downloadable PDFs. The stories will also soon be available as a mobile app for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch—and eventually for Android devices—so you can customize and carry them with you.

We are grateful to have been ranked #1 on U.S. News & World Report's list of the best children's hospitals in the nation for the third year in a row, an honor we could not have achieved without the patients and families who inspire us to do our very best for them. Thanks to you, Boston Children's is a place where we can write the greatest children's stories ever told.”
