Melissa Harper earned her bachelor’s degree in biology at Boston College before returning to pursue her master’s degree in advanced practice pediatric nursing. Prior to joining Wareham Pediatrics, she worked as an agency nurse taking care of high acuity children in the home setting and more recently she worked as a program nurse for North River Collaborative. Her love for children and working alongside families to help them grow and develop started in high school when she was working part time at a local preschool. Becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner has allowed her to combine her passions for healthcare and children into a career she truly loves.
