Professional History
Melissa started her nursing career as a Triage Nurse at Pediatric Healthcare, where she worked for three years while completing her FNP program. While completing her clinical rotations in the PHCA office, she decided to get her Pediatric NP certification. She discovered a love for pediatric medicine and is thrilled to have the opportunity to care for children across the all age groups.
Approach to Care
Across my career as a nurse, I always had a strong passion for continuing to care for patients a step further across the life span. During my Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Endicott College, I discovered a love for pediatric medicine, and the impact a health care provider can have on the patient's life through all stages of development.
