Marissa graduated from Bridgewater State University in 2014 with a BS in Medical Biology and a minor in Art. She received her BSN and MSN from Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts, specializing in Pediatric Primary Care, and became certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board in 2021.

She has experience in both adult and pediatric care across a variety of settings and has developed a particular interest in chronic medical conditions and rare diseases. Since 2023, Marissa has been working in the Genetics Department at Boston Children’s Hospital, where she cares for children with a range of genetic concerns, with special interests in connective tissue disorders, autism, and developmental delay.

Approach to Care
I have a passion for providing patient- and family-centered care for patients from infancy through early adulthood. I have always had a clinical interest in rare diseases and genetics.
