With over a decade of experience in the nursing field, Katie has demonstrated a remarkable journey through diverse healthcare settings. Beginning as a pediatric ICU nurse, focusing on critical care for young patients, including time in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU), Katie built a strong foundation in specialized care.

For the past five years, Katie has served as a dedicated Nurse Practitioner in primary care, offering comprehensive and compassionate healthcare services to children and their families. Alongside clinical practice, Katie has made significant contributions to nursing education by actively teaching nursing curricula at UMass Amherst and Northeastern University for over a decade.

Currently, Katie is per diem at Cape Cod Pediatrics while she focuses on her own two growing boys at home.
