Kathleen Garvey is the program coordinator and genetic counselor for Robert's Program on Sudden Unexpected Death in Pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital. Kathleen provides guidance and support to families throughout every stage of the program’s evaluation, from initial consent to the review of results. She also oversees genomic analyses, meticulously reviewing and interpreting variants to deliver accurate and clinically meaningful insights.
Kathleen graduated with her master’s degree in genetic counseling from Columbia University in May 2024. Her research interests include exploring the underlying mechanisms of sudden death, including previously undiagnosed conditions
