Professional History

I am a nurse practitioner in the Balance and Vestibular Program at Boston Children's Hospital. My bachelor’s degree is in Psychology from Elon University. During an internship on a psychiatric unit, I discovered my passion for caring for adults and children. My education continued at the University of Maryland School of Nursing where I earned a Master of Science Degree in the Clinical Nurse Leader program. For 6 years, I worked on a Pediatric Progressive Care unit at a large teaching hospital in Maryland. During this time, I returned to University of Maryland School of Nursing to attend a Nurse Practitioner program in Pediatric Primary Care. In August 2015, I began working as a nurse practitioner in pediatric neurology where I applied my background in psychology and nursing to care for children and families. In 2018, I began working in neurology at Boston Children’s Hospital in an ambulatory care, primarily seeing patients for urgent appointment. In February 2022, I transitioned to the Department of Otolaryngology and joined the Balance and Vestibular Program.

Approach to Care
I am inspired every day by the strength and courage of my young patients, and I am amazed by their families' support . I am privileged to care for so many wonderful children and their families.
