Pediatric Dentistry is a broad umbrella of a specialty that includes primary care dentistry for pediatric patients of all developmental stages as well as those pediatric patients with complex medical or cognitive conditions. Training the next generation of Pediatric Dental specialists is very important and why I continue to be a part of this department where I was trained in the early 90's.
