Dr. Claudio Schenone is a highly accomplished physician specializing in maternal-fetal medicine and perinatal surgery. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad de Carabobo, graduating second in his class. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, followed by a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of South Florida. Currently, he is a Perinatal Surgery Fellow at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Schenone has a strong background in high-risk obstetrics, prenatal diagnosis, and fetal therapy. He has received multiple awards, including induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and recognition for outstanding research and clinical excellence. His scholarly contributions include numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and invited lectures in fetal medicine.
Beyond clinical work, Dr. Schenone is an active mentor, educator, and peer reviewer for several prestigious journals. He has also engaged in public education through media appearances discussing maternal and fetal health.
