Professional History

I began my career in the MSICU at Boston Children’s Hospital, developing strong clinical and critical thinking skills. Transitioned to the PICU at Hasbro Children’s Hospital, furthering expertise in pediatric intensive care. Later gained valuable community health experience through early intervention home visits. Returned to Boston Children’s Hospital to join the Gastroenterology Motility Program, combining clinical knowledge with patient-centered care in a specialized outpatient environment. Earned a Master of Science in Nursing and became a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, currently serving in the Colorectal and Pelvic Malformation Center since 2018, providing specialized, multidisciplinary care to children with complex colorectal and pelvic conditions.

Approach to Care
I believe patient and family-centered care is vital to providing high-quality healthcare. Each patient should be treated as an individual, with respect for their unique needs, values, and preferences. Care should be collaborative, involving the patient and their family as active partners in decision-making. Treatment plans must be tailored to the individual, recognizing that physical, emotional, cultural, and social factors all play a role in health and healing. By fostering empathy, communication, and mutual respect, we can promote trust, improve outcomes, and enhance the overall care experience for both patients and their families.
