During your first visit to the Sturge-Weber Syndrome Clinic, you and your child will meet with a neurologist who will review your child’s medical history and perform a specialized physical exam. First visits usually last one hour.

When you come for your appointment please remember to bring:

  • Insurance card(s)
  • Name and telephone number of your referring physician
  • Co-payment for office visit (if applicable)
  • Any forms mailed to you by our office
  • Any previous imaging (MRIs) your child has had

Depending on your child’s symptoms, you may need a separate appointment to meet with other specialists in our clinic. We can help you schedule this before you leave. Your child may also be scheduled for further tests, such as an MRI or EEG.

If you need to cancel an appointment, call us at 617-355-6388. Please give us as much notice as possible — at least 24 hours — so we may help other patients.
