Professional History

After graduating nursing school, I worked for 6 years in a Special Care Nursery caring for premature and sick newborns.  I came to Boston Children’s Hospital in September 2016 to explore a new challenge, still caring for preemies but from a different perspective in the Ophthalmology Department.  

Babies, especially preemies, have been a passion of mine since I was a nursing student. While the patient is especially in need of medical care, the entire family needs to be taken care of as well. Family-Centered Care is a philosophy vital to caring for children of all ages, and I strive to provide it every day.
