Ms. Casais received her BA from Middlebury College and completed her Masters in Science in Nursing and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner training from the Mass General Hospital Institute. She has over 25 years experience in pediatric primary care and joined Pediatrics at Newton Wellesley in 2011. She is a current member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has trained nurse practitioner students from Northeastern, Boston College, UMass, Mass General Institute, Sacred Heart and Simmons. She has a special interest and training in Adolescent Medicine and Gynecology, and also in lactation and working with breastfeeding infants. She has experience teaching high school health curriculum, served on the Pediatric Physicians Organization at Children's committee on Adolescent Confidentiality, and has been involved in various community based health initiatives.
