Boston Children’s was proud to have 12 youth from eight community organizations successfully complete the 2024-25 Alliance to Growth program.

In 2023, a youth advisory group was convened to help guide and inform the work of the Metro South West Community Health Initiative. Today, this group is known as Alliance to Growth with youth participating from Brockton, Framingham, Needham, Quincy, Randolph, Waltham, and Weymouth. Participants provide insight into the many aspects of mental health and well-being as well as other issues that are impacting their communities.

Last school year’s Alliance to Growth cohort consisted of 16 young people. They all juggled school and activity schedules to participate. Every member attended meetings with enthusiasm and contributed to thoughtful conversations. The group also provides an opportunity for participants to network and share with each other, learn from a variety of subject matter experts, and represent the interests of their communities.

Take a look at pictures from some of the meetings throughout the 2024-25 school year.
