What’s it like to visit the Perioperative Care Coordination Clinic (PCCC) at Boston Children's? We can show you!

A pre-op clinic visit is necessary for patients who are scheduled to stay overnight after surgery and will likely be your first stop if your child is scheduled for surgery or other procedures performed under anesthesia.

During your visit, you will meet with an admitting officer, a clinical assistant, a nurse practitioner, and an anesthesiologist. Our perioperative nurse practitioners, nurses, and doctors will be available to answer any questions you have about anesthesia and the surgical process.
