From an early age, Dr. Ed Smith knew he wanted to be a neurosurgeon. At Boston Children’s, impactful mentors, collaborative care, and innovative research continue to inspire Dr. Smith. As both a doctor and a dad, he loves working in pediatrics, “helping protect the most important thing in the world to somebody, that’s extremely rewarding.”
