Established in 1979 by Alan Retik, MD, the Department of Urology continues its mission to provide the best clinical and research training experience in pediatric urology.
The Alan B. Retik Fellowship Program in Pediatric Urology is a two-year, ACGME-accredited fellowship with an optional third research year. During their first year, fellows are exposed to the full spectrum of pediatric urological care. The second year is a research year, and fellows can choose from a multitude of research options, including clinical and health services, basic research, and translational research.
