Boston Children’s Hospital Pancreatic Disorders Program is recognized by the National Pancreatic Foundation (NPF) as a leader in the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic disorders for children.
NPF Centers focus on multidisciplinary treatment of pancreatitis by treating the “whole patient” with a focus on the best possible outcomes and an improved quality of life. Boston Children’s is one-of-two pediatric hospitals nationwide to receive this honor.
When complications from cancer treatment led to severe pancreatitis, Wolfie's team at the Pancreatic Disorders Program worked alongside his cancer doctors to help him heal and get back to being a kid again.
