Boston Children's Hospital's Neuro-Ophthalmology Service focuses on disease processes that affect the interface between the eye and the brain, both with regards to the transmission of visual information to the brain through the optic nerve and the complex processing that generates coordinated eye movements. We are one of just a handful of pediatric ophthalmology programs in the world with a service dedicated entirely to eye problems caused by neurological conditions.
