Research Overview

Dr. Mottla is interested in research that partners with local organizations to develop evidenced based knowledge and practices in order to effectively deploy high quality pediatric care to meet the needs of children in humanitarian crises.
 

Research Background

Dr. Mottla obtained her bachelor's degree in International Health, and her MD from Georgetown University. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Children's National Medical Center, and fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Boston Children's Hospital. She completed an MPH in Humanitarian Health at George Washington University.
