Clement J. Bottino, MD, MPH, RYT, is an Instructor in Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and staff physician in the Division of General Pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Bottino specializes in the primary care of urban and socioeconomically vulnerable children. He engages in clinical, research, and teaching activities.

Dr. Bottino’s clinical innovations include group visits for pediatric obesity and evidence-based guidelines for otitis media and iron deficiency anemia. His research interests include pediatric obesity prevention, social determinants of health, and healthcare quality improvement. Dr. Bottino co-directs pediatric resident education in primary care at Boston Children’s Hospital Longwood and Martha Eliot sites. He tutors the Introduction to Social Medicine and Global Health course for first year students at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Bottino received his BA from Stanford University in 2001 and his MD from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2005. He completed a pediatrics residency at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York at Columbia University Medical Center in 2009. He completed a fellowship in general academic pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital in 2012. He received his MPH from Harvard School of Public Health and his Registered Yoga Teacher’s (RYT) certification from Yogaworks in 2012.
