Dr. Vaughan-Malloy’s research focuses on hospital epidemiology and infection prevention and control, with a particular interest in healthcare-associated infections and quality improvement initiatives to protect patients, visitors and staff. She currently serves as the Associate Hospital Epidemiologist, working within the Department of Infection Prevention and Control.

Researcher | Research Background

Dr. Vaughan-Malloy received her medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and her MPH from the School of Public Health at the University of California, Berkeley. She completed her residency and chief residency in pediatrics at Phoenix Children’s Hospital/Maricopa Medical Center, and fellowship in pediatric infectious diseases at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Vaughan joined the faculty in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Boston Children’s Hospital in 2018.
