  • Testing relevance of human organoids as a model system for bariatric surgery-associated intestinal adaptation.
  • Human Bariatric Tissue biobank ("GI Omics") study to test hypotheses regarding mechanisms for weight loss and metabolic improvement after bariatric surgery.
  • Using CGM to understand postprandial fuel metabolism and relation to intestinal biology.
  • Characterizing adrenal androgen production after bariatric surgery, with the goal of understanding mechanisms for PCOS remission.
