The Gaab Lab is a research unit that belongs to the Boston Children's Hospital Laboratories of Cognitive Neuroscience. Under the direction of Charles A. Nelson, Ph.D., the LCN is a research program dedicated to furthering our understanding of brain and cognitive development in typically developing infants and children, as well as children at risk for atypical development. Through our research, including several collaborations with colleagues in the Boston area, we aim to shed light on the many ways in which a child's experience can shape the developing brain.
