Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center: As a leading referral center for pediatric inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), the mission of our center is to offer our patients the finest quality of health care available.

The Motility and Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders Center at Boston Children's performs groundbreaking research studies in a number of areas related to motility.

The Aerodigestive Program at Boston Children’s is actively engaged in ongoing research related to GI motility problems. 

The Nutrition Center conducts a number of ongoing research projects on the role of nutrition in improved health outcomes. These projects include studies on the role of dietary intake and long-term health and bone health, inflammatory bowel disease, obesity, cancer, short bowel syndrome and many others. 

The Boston Children's Hospital Celiac Disease Program helps hundreds of member families cope with celiac disease, an autoimmune disorder that leads to damage of the small intestine and requires children to follow a strict, gluten-free diet.
