Professional History

Sunil Ghelani, MD, is a Senior Associate Cardiologist at Boston Children's Hospital and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. Within the Division of Cardiac Imaging, he serves as the Director of Cardiac CT, specializing in the use of advanced imaging modalities for diagnosing and managing complex congenital heart disease.

Dr. Ghelani is also actively involved in echocardiography and cardiac MRI, applying his expertise to a wide range of pediatric and congenital cardiac conditions. His research interests focus on leveraging advanced cardiac imaging techniques to improve diagnosis, guide therapy, and predict outcomes in patients with complex congenital heart disease, including those with Fontan circulation and single ventricle heart disease, as well as the application of artificial intelligence in pediatric cardiology.
