Noriko came to the US to obtain PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology, focusing on Immunology. After graduation, Noriko completed a research fellowship at Harvard Medical School focusing on recipient tolerization in the setting of Xenotransplantaion. After working as a researcher for decades, Noriko was diagnosed as an adult with a congenital condition, and received transforming care at BCH. Inspired by her experience at BCH as a patient, she went back to school to become a PA, and now providing care at BCH to pay it forward.
