Dr. Elkort received his BA and MA in Philosophy as well as his MD from Boston University. He completed his pediatric training at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School and joined Pediatrics at Newton Wellesley in 2001. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is an Instructor at Harvard Medical School precepting students in his clinic and is involved in ongoing research at the primary care level. He is on staff at Boston Children's Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital and Newton Wellesley Hospital. He has also been or is currently serving as a member of many organizations and committees including the Pediatric Physicians' Organization at Children's, Peer Review/Quality Improvement and Executive Medical Committee of Newton Wellesley Hospital.
