Dr. Kathleen Petillo received her medical degree at the University of New England and completed her pediatric training at the University at Buffalo. During this time, she also contributed to clinical research in RSV bronchiolitis.
She spent nearly ten years caring for children in pediatric urgent care, the emergency department, and as a Pediatric Hospitalist for Boston Children’s. For the past three years, Dr. Petillo has been part of the Village Pediatrics family, and in January 2025 she stepped into the role of owner. She feels grateful every day for the opportunity to watch her patients grow, support parents through each stage, and welcome new families into the practice.
Her special interests include newborn care—supporting parents through those first tender weeks—and adolescent medicine, where she enjoys helping teens navigate their growing independence.
At home, Dr. Petillo is a mom to two wonderful children. She loves traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family—and their beloved dog. She brings the same warmth, patience, and down-to-earth approach to her practice that she values in her own family life.
