Professional History

Katie began her nursing career after graduating from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015. She spent seven years as a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) nurse in pediatric hospitals, where she developed strong clinical skills, a deep commitment to family-centered care, and a passion for working with children and their families.

In 2021, Katie graduated from Georgetown with her Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree. Following graduation, she completed a post-graduate nurse practitioner residency at the Institute for Family Health in the Bronx, New York. There, she received intensive training in comprehensive primary care, chronic disease management, and working with marginalized populations.

In 2022, Katie joined a federally qualified health center (FQHC) in New York City as a pediatric primary care provider. In that role, she delivered preventive, acute, and chronic care to a diverse pediatric population, emphasizing collaboration with families, care teams, and community resources.

Katie recently relocated back home to Massachusetts with her husband, dog and toddler son and is excited to join the amazing team at Village Pediatrics.
