Approach to Care
From a very young age I felt a desire to help people which led me to the field of nursing. Patients who are diagnosed with venous thromboembolic events (VTEs) require education on high risk medications called anticoagulants. I pride myself on teaching these patients and families about how to safely administer anticoagulants and side effects to monitor for and report. My goal is to provide the tools and knowledge base for a safe anticoagulation therapy course.
