Professional History

Although originally from the midwest, Dr. Shah's medical training and career has brought her coast to coast. She has had the privilege of learning from some of the leaders in the field of Pediatric Rehabilitation and collaborating with national organizations such as the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine and the American Academy of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. She is now grateful to serve the New England region as a board-certified Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician.

Approach to Care
There is nothing more rewarding that improving a child's quality of life. I specialize in caring for children with neuromuscular diagnoses including Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, and other rare myopathies and neuropathies. Additionally, I perform targeted tone-management procedures, work in the multi-disciplinary cerebral palsy clinic, and I lead the acute hospital consultative services.
